  1. kudos to stafford for trying to get the show in, BUT… 1st they had the longest singer of the national anthem ever, who certainly ..umm made the song his own for sure. 2nd still did victory lane. and overall just took there sweet time. Everyone knew it was going to rain so why not just move faster. There was no chance of getting the entire night in but come on.

  2. The crowd must not have been to their liking. Let’s have everyone do it again next week. I still think that the Sizzler should be a high dollar open event given today’s racing climate. Then run a normal WMT point’s race the following week. This Memorial Day event seems to get bitten by weather almost every year. Last year it took them three attempts to get it in. Obviously, the track has no control over weather but it may be time to move it to June. Just run special events for the weekly divisions on Memorial Day Weekend and hope it doesn’t rain. Stafford may be the only weekly track in CT next year so scheduling shouldn’t be an issue in 2015.

Don’t forget to thank a veteran this weekend.

  3. late model fan says

So all the weekly divisions will have 3 races under their belt except the late models? And they wonder why the LM have such a small car count. No respect.
