The gelling process for Ryan Preece and his new Ed and Connie Partridge owned TS Haulers Racing team has been a smooth one.

They’ve clearly gelled.

Preece rolled to victory in Thursday’s 35-lap Tour Type Modified feature at the World Series of Asphalt Stock Racing at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway.

It was the third victory in five Tour Type Modified events at the World Series since last Friday.

Chuck Hossfeld of Ransomville, N.Y. was second and J.R. Bertuccio of Centereach, N.Y. third.

Preece has crossed the finish line first in four of the five events. He was disqualified from victory on opening night because his car was too light, giving the victory to Justin Bonsignore.

On Wednesday Eric Goodale passed Preece late for the lead to win the John Blewett III Memorial 76. Preece ended up third in that event.

In the 50-lap Super Late Model feature it was Dave Garbo Jr. of Stonington rolling to victory.
