New Hampshire Motor Speedway To Offer Taste Of The Speedways Specials

With more than 700 miles of racing coming up next weekend, July 15-17, the on-track action at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is sure to leave fans’ appetites satisfied and mouths watering.

There will also be some off-track options that will leave fans equally satiated, as the Magic Mile unveils the Taste of the Speedways.

The Taste of the Speedways will feature signature food items from each of the eight Speedway Motorsports, Inc.

(SMI) racetracks throughout the country and will be located under the Main Grandstand to the right of the main elevator.

A look at the comprehensive menu:

— New Hampshire Motor Speedway

New England Fried Lobster Plate
New England Lobster battered, fried, and skewered with fresh fried potatoes over a bed of coleslaw

Speedway Breakfast Burger
Half-pound sausage patty and maple bacon topped with a fried egg between thick-cut French toast with maple butter

The Clam Bake Sandwich
Hoagie roll stuffed with fried clams, grilled corn, steamed potatoes, and Italian sausage smothered with clam chowder and topped with fried lobster

Magic Mile Sundae
Moose Tracks ice cream over a classic whoopie pie topped with Maine blueberry sauce and whipped cream

Maple Cotton Candy
Fresh spun maple-infused cotton candy

— Atlanta Motor Speedway

Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshakes
Classic vanilla milkshake mixed with peanut butter and grape jelly

— Bristol Motor Speedway

Loaded Tots
Fresh fried tater tots smothered in cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream, sliced jalapeño, guacamole, and scallions

— Charlotte Motor Speedway

Speedway Picnic Burger
This six-pound giant consists of flame-grilled burgers, steamed hot dogs, smoky pulled pork, Applewood bacon, American cheese, crisp lettuce, and fresh-sliced tomatoes on a seeded bun

— Kentucky Speedway

Fried Bologna Sandwich
Two pieces of thick-cut fried bologna sandwiched in between two pieces of white bread topped with mustard, pickles, and onions

— Las Vegas Motor Speedway

South of the Border Cheesesteak
Taco-seasoned shaved steak with grilled peppers and onions, jalapeño peppers, cilantro, and fried tortilla chips topped with homemade beer cheese

Busch Brothers Beer Braised Brisket Nachos
Tri-color tortilla chips topped with beer-braised beef, beer-pickled jalapeños, beer-glazed bacon, smothered in beer cheese

— Sonoma Raceway

Crab Cake Skewer
Jumbo lump crab cake skewers served with lemon aioli and spicy pepper slaw

— Texas Motor Speedway

Bacon Cotton Candy
Fresh spun bacon-infused cotton candy

Queen Wing
Giant fried chicken legs tossed with bacon queso sauce and topped with crushed Doritos and bacon crumb

    Whoa, time to strap on the feedbag. I love this idea. I would think Texas would have come with the BBQ. This is a step up from the Steak & Shake menu.

    Andy, there are quite a few places up here along the northern ma coastline, southern NH and ME, that actually have fried lobster on the menu. It’s a good seller and not a gimmick
