bad-boy-off-road-300-logoBold and ambitious. Those are the qualities needed for a driver to win a race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. So, it’s fitting that a company with similar attributes will serve as the entitlement sponsor for one of the most demanding races of the season. Speedway officials announced today that the second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship on Sunday, Sept. 25 has been named the Bad Boy® Off Road 300.

The Bad Boy Off Road 300 will cap off a jam-packed weekend of NASCAR: New England Style racing and entertainment. Tripleheader Saturday will feature the Camping World Truck Series, Whelen Modified Tour and American-Canadian Tour, while Cheap Trick, a 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, will provide the Sunday pre-race show before the green flag drops on the Bad Boy Off Road 300 at 2:00 p.m.

Bad Boy Off Road, a Textron Specialized Vehicles brand, is no stranger to NASCAR with its longtime partnerships in the industry, including being the primary sponsor for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase contender Kevin Harvick. Harvick won the September Chase race at NHMS in 2006 and will return a favorite for Sunday’s race.

“Bad Boy Off Road is known for fun and excitement, making them the perfect partner for our playoff race here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway,” said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of the speedway. “Bad Boy Off Road has been a tremendous advocate of our sport and we are very proud to have them on our marquee for New England’s biggest NASCAR event of the season.”

Bad Boy Off Road vehicles are designed and built to tackle tough terrain and any to-do list. From its silent, emission-free electric vehicles to game-changing gas side-by-sides and ATVs, Bad Boy Off Road has one bold way after another to take customers wherever you want to go.

“Bad Boy Off Road vehicles are made to be driven by the bold, and there’s no one bolder than the drivers who compete on NASCAR’s highest and most fierce level of competition,” said John Collins, Vice President, Consumer for Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company that designs and manufactures Bad Boy Off Road vehicles.

Bad Boy Off Road caters to hunters, recreational riders, farmers and ranchers who typically see Bad Boy vehicles as a badge of honor for those that understand the power of the outdoor experience. This year, Bad Boy Off Road introduced its revolutionary gas-powered Stampede 4×4 side-by-side and OnslaughtTM ATV, which offer huge power and untouchable performance.
