Practice began early Saturday morning for a busy day at the Sunoco World Series at Thompson Speedway
THOMPSON – If it has four wheels and races on a paved oval in New England you can probably find it on the track at some point today at Thompson Speedway.
Saturday of World Series Weekend at Thompson Speedway might be the busiest scheduled day of racing in all of New England.
From the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, to the American Canadian Tour, to the Valenti Modified Racing Series and on and on and on. It’s all here for the viewing at Thompson Saturday.
The Whelen Modified Tour is set for qualifying Saturday to set the field for Sunday’s championship deciding Sunoco World Series 150.
Also on tap Saturday is a 75-lap American Canadian Tour feature and 50-lap feature for the Valenti Modified Racing Series.
From there its host of other divisions rocking the .625-mile oval at Thompson Saturday. Mini Stocks, Midgets, Street Stocks, Pro Four Modifieds, SK Light Modifieds, Trucks, they’ll all be in action.
