Seuss will be piloting the Ted Marsh-owned No. 31 sponsored by Whelen Engineering, Chris Our, Canto Paving, Red River Computer Company and Springfield Buick GMC. Seuss will also be racing his family-owned Modified in the 100-lap NWMT feature on Saturday and the non-points All-Star event on Friday afternoon.
300×250 Summer Thunder 2017.07.13“I have no stock car laps there, but this is really neat,” Seuss said. “If there’s any place I’d want to run a K&N car it would be there because I’m from New Hampshire. It means a lot to me to race there. It reminds me of when I was just a fan in the stands watching the old Busch North races.”
The 30-year-old driver from Hampstead, New Hampshire said that he had always dreamed of one day racing a stock car at the Magic Mile, but he said he had almost ruled out that possibility. Then one day he got a phone call from Marsh’s team asking if he’d be willing to drive their car.
“Ted Marsh seems like a super nice guy. I’m just excited for the experience. I still can’t believe it came together the way it did. It’s really neat how this came together.”
Winning at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is something that Seuss has yet to achieve in a Modified. Now this weekend he will have two chances in the Modified and a third chance in the K&N car.
Seuss, a two-time champion of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, said winning at the Magic Mile would be right at the top of his list of achievements.
“It would probably just the biggest thing that could ever happen to me. That’s why we put in such an effort to make it happen. I love racing with my family and our little hometown team. To go from being a fan in the stands to racing at Sugar Hill Speedway down the road from there to not only racing in the K&N race, but also the Modified race and the All-Star Modified race, is definitely a dream come true for a kid who used to go just to watch.”

Who are you talking about? I don’t think Andy ever drove a Darestock. He is a very accomplished modified driver from the Northeast, before making the move down south where he became a two time champion in the Nascar modified tour. Can you explain your comment

Jeffrey is kind of like the crabby town drunkard walking down the street babbling incoherently to himself about nonsense. Just walk by, don’t make eye contact and certainly don’t engage him about the nonsense he’s rambling on about.
It’s funny Shawn, the first thing I thought after reading the comment was there must not be too many beers left in the case! Hahaha
