K&N Pro Series East Busch North Throwback 100 winner Harrison Burton basks in a storm of confetti Saturday at Thompson Speedway
THOMPSON – The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East made its first visit since 2009 to Thompson Speedway Saturday for the running of the Busch North Throwback 100.
It proved a long day of racing at the historic track, with a pair of rain delays sending the racing action well into the night.
In addition to Harrison Burton winning the Busch North Throwback 100, Todd Owen got his first Thompson SK Modified feature win at and Glenn Korner scored his first career SK Light Modified victory.
Other winners on the evening included Brent Gleason (Limited Sportsman), Matt Lowinski-Loh (Late Model) and Wayne Burroughs Jr.
