THOMPSON – The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour this year has been the Justin Bonsignore show.
And no place does that traveling show shine brighter than at Thompson Speedway.
Wednesday it was Bonsignore driving to his third Whelen Modified Tour victory in three starts this year at Thompson Speedway in the Bud King of Beers 150.
It was the fifth victory overall in 2018 in 10 starts for Bonsignore and his Ken Massa owned team.
And from practice to qualifying to victory lane – and the support divisions in between – Fran Lawlor from RaceDayCT was there to document it all.
Check out below for Fran’s gallery from the night’s action.
Exceptional pics on this night Fran. Well done!

Great pics! I can’t decide which is more interesting, the candid people pics, or the the track shots. Both groups are very cool!
Love the pic of Preece under the car. Can you imaging William Byron or Alex Bowman under a race car? Guys like preece are what the sport used to be made up of.
Thank you
