STAFFORD – If the whole driving on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour thing doesn’t end up working out for drivers Doug Coby and Justin Bonsignore, it’s pretty clear the duo could hit the road as a Twitter entertainment team.

The tweet threads orchestrated by Coby and Bonsignore have become legendary amusement of the Northeast racing community.

The perfect one liners are endless, the textbook GIF’s fly fast and furious.

But on Sunday morning Coby got some real life reaction to his Twitter persona. Last Saturday during the K&N Pro Sereis East Apple Barrel 125 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Coby posted the tweet below taking a shot at the heavy youth base of the division.

During Sunday morning’s driver’s meeting at Stafford Speedway before the NAPA Fall Final 150 Coby had a gift waiting for him from the series management of the K&N Pro Series East.

Whelen Modified Tour series director Jimmy Wilson presented Coby with a package of juice boxes on behalf of K&N Pro Series East series director Chris Wright.

To his credit, Coby took the gag and immediately ran with it, handing the juice boxes off to teenage something aged driver Andrew Molleur.

Fittingly, Coby later offered a Twitter reply to Wright for his gift.
