Lucrative Late Model Purse For Tri-Track Halloween Weekend At Seekonk

(Press Release from Tri-Track Open Modified Series)

When the Tri-Track Open Modified Series heads to Seekonk Speedway for the Haunted 100, not only will they be joined by the full-fendered ‘big guns’ of the Pro All Star Series but also a strong field of Late Models. One of the highest paying Late Model purses of the season will see local favorites from Seekonk’s own Late Model division contend with invaders from throughout the northeast.

“With this purse and the consistency of the ACT rules, this should be one of the strongest fields for a Late Model race in recent years,” said Series Managing Partner, Wayne Darling. “And, if last year’s race is any indication, this year’s 50 lapper for the Late Models is only going to be bigger and better.”

The Late Model rules for the event will be the same as those in effect for Seekonk’s own prestigious D. Anthony Venditi Fall Classic and can be found on the track’s website seekonkspeedway.com. All ACT legal Late Models are welcome.

“Thanks in part to newly added sponsorship by Propane Plus, the winner of the Late Model race will take home $1,500,” added Darling.

Longtime supporters of New England racing, Propane Plus is a local, family-owned business that has earned a reputation for outstanding service. With combined storage facilities of 180,000 gallons of propane on hand, Propane Plus provides reasonable pricing and trusted service.

Week-in and week-out, the Late Model division is one of the most hotly contested divisions at Seekonk Speedway. Fans of the Haunted Happenings at the Speedway on October 27 should expect much of the same. Seekonk regulars already registered include multi-time track champion Gerry Degasparre, up-and-coming drivers Ryan Kuhn, Bobby Tripp, Chase Belcher, Danny Johnson, as well as veteran campaigner Manny Dias. Follow Tri-Track Open Modified Series on social media for regular updates to divisional entry lists.

Gates open at 11am with racing starting at 1pm on Saturday, October 27. General admission is $27. Children under 12 are admitted free. Pit gates opens at 8am with admission of $37. The rain date is Sunday, October 28.

Comments

  1. This could quietly become one of the biggest shows of the season in the Northeast. Each division will more than likely have a full field with cars going home. Big money, long distances, no BS. $27 what a steal.

  2. Last years show was fantastic and with the addition of the PASS series this year will be even better.
Three great divisions and only $27 admission. Sweet Deal

  3. This will be the biggest bullring event of the year! As well as a large turnout of Modifieds, it will be cool to watch the “locals vs. invaders” battles in both the Pro Stocks AND Late Models!
