Stafford Notes: Tom Fearn Tops Late Models; Ronnie Williams, Austin Bessete And Kris Fluckiger Also Get Wins

STAFFORD – Tom Fearn passed Jay Stuart on lap 23 for the lead and never trailed again on the way to victory in the 30-lap Late Model feature Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

It was the second victory of the season for Fearn, of East Longmeadow, Mass.

Adam Gray of Belchertown, Mass. was second and Stuart, of Preston, third.

In the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature, it was Ronnie Williams of Ellington holding off Chase Dowling of Roxbury for the victory. Tony Membrino Jr. of Plantsville was third.

Austin Bessette of Stafford was victorious in the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature. D.J. Burnham of East Hartford was second and Andrew Hayes of Charlton, Mass. third.

Kris Fluckiger of Enfield won the 15-lap DARE Stock feature.

Richie Pallai Jr. of Yorktown Heights, N.Y. won the 15-lap Champions of Charities exhibition go-kart event.
