Our Motorsports Fielding Two ARCA Cars At Talladega Superspeedway

(Press Release from Our Motorsports)

Charlotte, NC: Our Motorsports will make their second start of the ARCA Racing Series season this weekend in the General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway. The team will also field a second entry.

Andy Seuss, the teams primary driver, will be joined by ARCA notable Josh Williams in a second car. Williams, a two-time winner, has been a regular in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2018.

“I’m excited to compete at Talladega with ARCA and to have the opportunity to be part of the Our Motorsports family with Andy. It’s always nice knowing you’ll have a teammate at a restrictor-plate race,” said Williams.

Seuss, the NASCAR Modified standout, also sees value in having Williams on board.

“I think it’s great for our program,” he said. “Josh is a veteran of the series and brings knowledge and experience. We’re all looking forward to the weekend.”

Williams, through his own team JW Motorsports, prepared the car that he will pilot; while Seuss and his crew fine-tuned their entry out of the Our Motorsports stable.

Team owner, Chris Our, feels like the alliance with Williams can only make his team stronger.

“I feel that taking what Andy has brought to the table and adding Josh and his team to the mix, will just make us a stronger team overall,” said Our. “We are all looking at this weekend as a step towards the next level in the series. I’m excited to see how everything unfolds.”

So what happens when teammates work together at a restrictor-plate race – on the last lap?

Well, both drivers agree that it’s every man for himself.

“Teammates are teammates until the last 150 yards,” said Seuss, “but I’m going to try and win. And I fully expect my teammate to do the same.”

Practice, qualifying and the race all take place on Friday, April 27. The green flag flies at 5:00 PM CDT.
