Getserious making a late season charge following up a podium in the Eddie Partridge 256 with this win. Probably too little too late for the season long podium crown but in the thick of it for the coveted total win championship.
Bobf same story also a late season charge following up a win in our last Pick 6 with a strong podium finish for this race.
Csg and Suitcase Jake barely hanging on as the leaders in the Total Wins and Podiums categories so the pressure is on with only two or three events to go. Many in contention, those numerically out of the championship hunt looking to be the spoilers……the tension is palpable!
Great job Doug….The Pick’em has given us a ton of fun, less bickering back and forth like in the past… HAVE FUN = BE HAPPY…… we could have only dreamed it would have taken off as it has….The Football Pick’em will also take off this Fall & Winter as more People join in …Now we have our own Spot to put in picks and find results it is even BETTER…. looking forward to the Future FUN we will have…

There was an entry list on Tri tracks web site. It had around 41 cars last time I checked probably on Monday. Should be a good one get out to the track. Last mod race in the area that I know of.

This is a big event with great field of cars and drivers and a championship in play among 4 teams. I’d like to make this our final points Pick 6 to determine our bragging right champions. This is what I propose.
Should the most wins and podiums leaders be tied after this event we go to a playoff. Everyone gets to play as usual in the Islip 300, North South Shootout or Turkey Derby but only the players tied going into the playoff race are eligible to win the championships. If one race doesn’t settle it we go to the next until it is settled. As of now the players eligible would be myself and csg in the most wins category. Suitcase Jake and csg in the most podiums category. That obviously is very likely to change after Martinsville.
That’s the idea and I’ll need at least two or three seconds to activate it so give it some thought.

Apologies for being responsible for the rain out. With rain not forecast there can be only one explanation for Mother Nature calling an audible. That’s right race fans it was the Reverse Mulligan. The gods of racing equity clearly not happy with the boneheaded notion of penalizing a driver for being too dominant.
Can’t say we won’t try it again if the situation warrants but will surely think twice before pulling the trigger.
