Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series NAPA Fall Final Postponed To Oct 28 At Stafford

With a forecast calling for rain throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday this weekend, Stafford Speedway management has decided to postpone the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series NAPA Fall Final event.

The race will be made up on Saturday Oct. 28.

“It’s a really good move for the whole racing community,” Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series managing partner Ed Bennett said.

Said Stafford Speedway CEO Mark Arute: “There were many conflicting events to work through and this is the best date we could find to ensure a strong field of cars for our fans. It’s a bit late in the Fall but we’re looking forward to closing out the Modified season in New England at the NAPA Fall Final.”

The NAPA Fall Final event will remain the same with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series headlining the day with a $15,000 to win event. Stafford’s SK Modified division will wrap up their points season with a 40 lap feature while the SK Light Modified division will have a 20 lap invitational race open to any driver who has not won a race at Stafford in 2023. The Vintage All-Stars will also be on hand.

Stafford is an action tonight and will host its NAPA Championship Night on Sept. 29.

The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series returns to action next with the Haunted Hundred on Oct. 21 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.

Comments

  1. The Haunted Eighty at Stafford! Lol

  2. I wish Stafford would bring back the Turkey Gobbler… that was a great race. Pretty sure the race was won by Ray Miller in the Simons 9.. Bear would know for sure

  3. The best move for stafford & tritrack to make, for sure! Let’s all hope and pray for a new england drought in october!!

  4. I was looking forward to heading to the track this weekend, but I did just buy a new scanner and now I’m looking forward to having a chance to really learn how to use it. Hard to find frequency lists for the tri track teams!

  5. Marshall did u go to guest guide from Stafford site, most open teams frequencies on there.

  6. @wmass01013 thanks! I kept trying to Google it and only ever wound up on a page for SK mods. The guest guide had the open mods too. Hopefully they never change them 😊

  7. Good comment about frequencies for modified racing in general. Wish Racedayct.com would publish a list of frequencies for all modified teams and tracks

  8. This assures Martinsville will rain out to Friday now.
