Only three days until the first game so time to put your helmet’s on and make some picks.
First week, so many unknowns the only thing that makes sense is every game straight up. The one exception being the lowly Patriots where the monster spread will be in play for that one game. Point spreads for the other games provided only for your information on who’s favored.

Our little clutch of family members embarrassed ourselves last Sunday being so joyous watching the Patriots be efficient in all three phases of the game especially in the last time consuming drive. The last two years have damaged many of we New England fans into thinking something will always go wrong,
Pat’s still have many issue’s and the likelihood of playing so well a second week in a row probably low. Hope I’m wrong. If they do it again and play beyond expectations two times won’t be good fortune it may mean Mayo is way more then many gave him credit for when he was named head coach.

It’s not too late, this is how it will work.
Pick the Monday night game WITH THE POINTS plus provide a total point number. Picking the winner with the points in play the first level of tie breaker then if a tie still exists we go to the total points.
If for any reason we all can’t get our tie breaker pick in by Monday game time we’ll start it next week.

Neither the Chiefs nor Seahawks covered the spread so for our purposes if you picked the Bengals and Pats you get the win.
Not everyone was able to get their tie breaker pick in so we’ll start that next week. However at the top of the leader board it makes no difference. CSG for the second week in a row turning in a dominant performance picking 5 out of six with the spread no less. Liz C also very strong getting 4 out of 6 correct, another top performance two weeks in a row.

Little different approach this week. Pats at the Jets tomorrow night so let’s make it an advanced tie breaker. We’ll have 5 games on tap for Sunday but in case of a tie pick the winner and total points by game time Thursday.

Doug, the game that intrigues me is dallas- baltimore. Never figured that ravens would be 0-2 at this point. They are better than that. Sure, lost to cheifs, good team. But…..
