STAFFORD – Last week Tom Fearn finally found the way to get a car that had been fast each week this season to victory lane at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Friday he carried that momentum back to the track.

Fearn, of East Longmeadow, Mass., went by Tom Butler for the lead on lap seven and then drove off for his second consecutive victory in the 30-lap Late Model feature Friday at Stafford.

It was the second victory in six starts this year at Stafford for Fearn.

Division points leader Michael Bennett of Stafford was second and Butler, of Stafford, third.

“I knew Tom Butler was fast tonight so I had to get him early,” Fearn said.

Nick Salva went by Kyle Trayner for the lead on lap 17 and never trailed again on the way to victory in the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature.

Tony Membrino Jr. of Plantsville was second and D.J. Burnham of East Hartford third.

Andrew Hayes of Charlton, Mass. held off Albert Saunders of Stafford to win the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature. Paul Arute of Tolland was third.

Devin O’Connell of Madison won the 20-lap Legends feature. Mikey Flynn of Hampden, Mass. was second and Michael Rutkowski of Mattituck, N.Y. third.
