WATERFORD – A week ago Doug Coby celebrated in victory lane at the Waterford Speedbowl after winning the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Mr. Rooter 161.

Seems Coby had some much fun he couldn’t stay away.
Coby, of Milford, was back at the Speedbowl Saturday looking for consecutive celebrations.
Coby is one of a swelled crowd of SK Modified drivers in the house at the shoreline oval Saturday for Speedbowl.com 300 night in Waterford.
Twenty-eight cars are registered to compete in tonight’s 100-lap feature for the SK Modified division.
Coby has three career SK Modified victories at Waterford, the last coming in 2008.
Another driver on site that proves also to be threat each time he shows up at the track is Todd Ceravolo of Gales Ferry.
All four of the track’s regular weekly divisions will compete in extended distance events tonight with the Late Models, Street Stocks and Mini Stocks all running 50-lap races. There will also be a 25-lap Legends feature and a 25-lap SK Light Modified feature on the card
