These days, it wouldn’t be an event at the Waterford Speedbowl if it didn’t involve some post-race love from Sid DiMaggio and the crew from Sid’s View.
And there is no denying what happened at the Waterford Speedbowl Saturday night was an event of massive proportions for the shoreline oval.
The return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Waterford Speedbowl for the first time since 2006 meant a standing room only crowd that got treated to one of the best races of the season for the division.
In the end it was series points leader Doug Coby scoring his third win in five races this year and the track and day later it was the DiMaggio and his crew helping fans to relive the historic night at the track.
