That seems to be the motto these days for Terryville’s Rich Keator.

Keator has added duties working the flag stand at Thompson International Speedway to an already brimming schedule on the local racing scene.

With regular flagger Tim Bennett taking some time off, Keator will make his debut as a flagger at Thompson Speedway for this week’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series show on Thursday.

Before the start of the 2012 season Keator became the chief starter on the Valenti Modified Racing Series.

He also works the flag stand at the Waterford Speedbowl and for the Ceric Fabrication Karting Series on Monday evenings at Stafford Motor Speedway.

On Friday’s at Stafford Keator is in the handicapper’s booth as a track pit steward.
