Tom Abele Jr. And Tyler Chadwick Score SK Modified Victories At The Waterford Speedbowl

On doubleheader night for the SK Modifieds at the Waterford Speedbowl Saturday it was Tom Abele Jr. finding the win column for the first time in 2012.

Abele, of Norwich, won the second 35-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature at Waterford.

Todd Owen of Somers was second and Jeff Rocco of Wallingford third.

In the first feature, points leader Tyler Chadwick of Ledyard was the winner. Nichole Morgillo of Wallingford was second and Rob Janovic Jr. of Waterford third.

Cam McDermott of Scituate, Mass. won the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature.

In the 25-lap Street Stock feature it was Dan Darnstaedt of Durham scoring the victory. Garrett Denton of Hope Valley, R.I. won the 25-lap Mini Stock feature.
