Ryan Preece Out Of Midget This Weekend At Lee USA Speedway

Ryan Preece confirmed Wednesday that, despite announcements by the Northeastern Midget Association on Wednesday, he will not get the opportunity to race this weekend with the series at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H.

A press release from NEMA said Tuesday that Preece and Whelen Modified Tour champion Doug Coby would be competing with NEMA Sunday at Lee.

Preece said the plan was originally for him to run a Cantor Racing ride at Lee, but because the car was involved in a wreck this past weekend at Thompson, the team will not be able to bring the car for Preece to race it.

Coby, of Milford, will make his NEMA debut running a Bertrand Racing ride.
