On Tap: Hitting The Road A Little Less This Weekend

The usual schedule of three short tracks in three days in the Nutmeg State is a smidge different for this weekend.

With Sailfest New London throwing a blanket over the general vicinity, the Waterford Speedbowl will have its annual dark Saturday this weekend, with no racing at the shoreline oval.

Thompson International Speedway and Stafford Motor Speedway will make up for the void with some special events on each of their racing cards.

And if you’re really in need of satisfying that racing fix on Saturday, there is an alternative this weekend, albeit a little different than what the average short track racing fan might be used to.

Think sports cars and road course. Check below for details.
