The 17-year old Ryan Blaney will run in a Heinke-Baldwin Racing entry. It will mark his debut with the Whelen Modified Tour.

Heinke-Baldwin Racing is expected to announce on Thursday that Ryan Blaney will be in their No. 98 entry for the event.

The High Point, N.C. driver has made three Nationwide Series starts this year for Tommy Baldwin Racing. He had a seventh place finish in his series debut April 27 at Richmond International Raceway. He finished 43rd on May 11 at Darlington Raceway and 15th last Friday at Kentucky Speedway.

Ryan Blaney won in his only K&N Pro Series West start on Nov. 12, 2011 at Phoenix International Raceway. He had two top-10 finishes in K&N Pro Series East events in 2011. He has made three starts on the K&N Pro Series East in 2012, with a pair of top-five finishes.

Bob Mueller, who retired last year as crew chief for Bob Garbarino’s Mystic Missile Whelen Modified Tour team, is expected to serve as Ryan Blaney’s crew chief at NHMS.
