Honey Badger of the Week Award: Paul French

Honey Badger don’t care and nobody epitomized that more last week than Waterford Speedbowl SK Light Modified driver Paul French of Andover.

Thanks to Randall and his glorious YouTube classic, we all know this, “Honey Badger don’t care.”

According to Randall: “The honey badger has been referred to by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most fearless animal in all of the animal kingdom.”

So we know: “Honey Badger don’t care, it just takes what he wants. He has no regard for any other animal whatsoever.”

And therein lies the gist of the Honey Badger of the Week Award. It might be a good thing, might be a bad thing, we don’t really know.

The award winner will stand as someone each week who best exemplifies the attributes of the Honey Badger.

Despite being involved in a wreck, French finished 10th in the SK Light Modified feature last Saturday on day one of Finale Weekend at Waterford.

But after securing his second consecutive division championship French was hardly Mickey Mouse friendly. Honey Badger came out as French basically said he wouldn’t be back next year because he’s sick of the rough racing at the track.

As Randall says: “The Honey Badger is really pretty badass. It has no regard for any other animal whatsoever.” and clearly French decided to go out without trying to make any new friends to take with him.
