Rain Halts Finale Weekend Sunday At Waterford Speedbowl

WATERFORD – The forecast that Waterford Speedbowl officials had been dreading all week became reality Sunday afternoon at the track.

In the midst of the 50-lap Mini Stock feature light rain began falling at the Speedbowl. With a front hanging over the track and expected rain for an extended period of time, officials made the decision to postpone the remainder of the event to Saturday Oct. 27.

The makeup card will include the final 28 laps of the Mini Stock feature along with 50-lap features for the SK Modified, Late Model and Street Stock divisions.

Championships are still left to be decided in the SK Modified and Street Stock divisions.
