Rowan Pennink Wins The Valenti Modified Racing Series DAV Fall Classic At Seekonk

Rowan Pennink of Huntingdon Valley, Pa., ran to his second Valenti Modified Racing Series victory of the season in Saturday’s rain shortened DAV Fall Classic At Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Mass.

The victory, coupled with Jon McKennedy’s 10^th place finish, closed Pennink to within 37 points of McKennedy at the top of the standings with two events remaining this season.

Steve Masse of Bellingham, Mass. was second Saturday and Todd Annarummo of Swansea, Mass. third. The race was ended after 53 of the scheduled 100 laps.

McKennedy, of Chelmsford, Mass., is looking for his third series championship. Pennink is looking for his first championship.

The Modified Racing Series returns to action next Saturday at Thompson International Speedway before closing the season Oct. 21 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H.
