Mr. Rooter Back On Board As Title Sponsor For NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour At Waterford

Last June, after six years away from the track, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour made a triumphant return to the Waterford Speedbowl with the running of the inaugural Mr Rooter 161 in tribute to Richie Evans.

The race was held in front of a packed grandstand that buzzed with anticipation throughout the afternoon and late into the night at the track.

And it was a promotion that made the event title sponsor proud. So much so that when the Whelen Modified Tour returns to the Waterford Speedbowl in 2013 the Mr. Rooter name will be right back there with them.

On June 22 the Whelen Modified Tour returns to Waterford to run the second Mr. Rooter 161 at the shoreline oval. Reigning Whelen Modified Tour champion Doug Coby is the defending champion of the event.

“We were thrilled with the excitement generated around the return of the Whelen Modified Tour to Waterford in 2012 and we can’t wait for another great event this year,” Mr. Rooter owner Vinny Beedle said. “It’s an honor to be part of the race.”

  1. Can't Wait! I just hope I don't got work that night.

  2. Did it bounce last year Billy? Really, it was a great event and Vinny is stepping up to the plate again this year. I honestly can't understand why a person has to make a negative comment on an article that is good news for the Speedbowl and everyone involved.
