It’s back. After a few years away, Race-A-Rama is ready to return to the Eastern States Exposition grounds.
The Frank Maratta Auto Show leaving Hartford and heading to the Big E in West Springfield, Mass. means the return of Race-A-Rama Saturday and Sunday.
This year the show will share the Better Living Center building at the Eastern States Exposition grounds with the Maratta show.
Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson International Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl are all expected to be represented at the show. New Hampshire Motor Speedway is also expected.
The Waterford Speebdowl booth at the show will host a live broadcast of the Overdrive Radio show from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The show is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15. Children 8-12 will be admitted for $7.50 and kids seven and under are free. Three dollar discount coupons are available at Town Fair Tire Stores.
A pit crew challenge is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday. For more information check the Frank Maratta Show web site.

Wow this is the first I have heard of this! Where has the promotion been for this event?
I have been a few times and its great! Real treat for race fans!! They have both oval and drag race cars and set ups with plenty of vendors. Coupled with Frank Marattas top car show its a great event! See ya,Les…The Rod Father
