Race-A-Rama The Place To Be This Weekend For Motorsports Teams And Enthusiasts

If it involves racing in Southern New England, whether that be tracks, cars or the good folks who make it all go with their services, it will be at Race-A-Rama Saturday and Sunday at the Better Living Center building at the Eastern States Exposition grounds.

The return of Race-A-Rama to the Big E will see the show sharing space with the long running Frank Maratta Auto Show, which has moved from Hartford to West Springfield.

The show will see racing vendors galore moving in for the weekend, including a number of RaceDayCT partners. Those in the RaceDayCT family who will be available at the show this weekend include RH2, New England Racing Fuel, Thirty Marketing and GWC Motorsports.

Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson International Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl are all expected to be represented at the show. New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the Valenti Modified Racing Series are also expected to have booths at the show.

The Waterford Speebdowl booth at the show will host a live broadcast of the Overdrive Radio show from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Yours truly will be making an appearance on the show at some point during the day on Saturday.

The show is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15. Children 8-12 will be admitted for $7.50 and kids seven and under are free. Three dollar discount coupons are available at Town Fair Tire Stores.
