The official radio supplier of the Waterford Speedbowl has also signed on to be the official sponsor of preparation for the season at the shoreline oval.
RH2 Way Radios of Riverside, N.J. will be the presenting sponsor when teams hit the Speedbowl bullring for a day of testing on March 30.
The addition of the presenting sponsor role will drop pit admission for teams at the Open Practice presented by RH2 Way Radios from $30 to $25 for the day.
“We all understand the financial burdens placed on teams at all levels of short track racing,” RH2 Way owner Gino DiFilippo Jr. said. “At RH2 Way we’re fans of racing first, along with the men and women that put on the shows we love to watch and be a part of, especially at a place like the Waterford Speedbowl. We’re glad that we can help in easing some of the burden so teams can use a day of practice to prepare to give race fans another great season of racing at the Speedbowl.”
The pits will open at 10 a.m. on March 30 at the track, with practice beginning on a rotating basis for all divisions at 11 a.m. Practice will run through 6 p.m. and the pits will be closed at 7 p.m.
All safe racecars are welcome to the practice session including all series’ and divisions that compete at the Speedbowl. Grandstands will not be open for the practice day.
