George Brunnhoelzl III Grabs Whelen Southern Modified Tour Win At South Boston Speedway

George Brunnhoelzl III led from green to checkered to win the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour South Boston 150 Saturday at South Boston (Va.) Speedway.

Brunnhoelzl, of West Babylon, N.Y., became the third different winner in three Whelen Southern Modified Tour events this season. The victory helped extend Brunnhoelzl extend his points lead at the top of the standings.

Brunnhoelzl is looking for his fourth consecutive Whelen Southern Modified Tour title this year.

Brian Loftin was second and Kyle Ebersole third. Brunnhoelzl won the pole for the event before leading every lap.
