Max Zachem On The Pole For Valenti Modified Racing Series Season Opener At Waterford Speedbowl

WATERFORD – The luck of the draw paid off for Max Zachem Sunday at the Waterford Speedbowl.

Zachem, of Preston, will start on the pole for the 100-lap Valenti Modified Racing Series season opener Sunday at the Waterford Speedbowl.

The top-four finishers in each of three qualifying heats from Saturday drew for the top-12 starting spots in the field on Sunday.

Lou Mechalalides of Tyngsboro, Mass. will start second and Todd Annarummo of Swansea, Mass. third.
