Ben Kennedy Wins K&N Pro Series East NASCAR Hall Of Fame 150 At Bowman Gray

At one of NASCAR’s most historic tracks Saturday it was one a member of NASCAR’s first family celebrating Saturday in K&N Pro Series East action.

Ben Kennedy, the great grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. won the NASCAR Hall of Fame 150 Saturday at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C.

It was the second career K&N Pro Series East victory for Kennedy.

“Man, this is just awesome,” Kennedy said in a release from NASCAR. “I’ve got to thank BK Racing and absolutely everyone that made this possible to win here at Bowman Gray. I’m speechless over that.”

Dylan Kwasniewski was second and Brandon Gdovic third.

Polesitter Brett Moffitt, who led from the start, had battery issues mid-race and was overtaken by Kennedy on lap 125.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame 150 will air on Speed on June 6 at 3 p.m.
