It was the third victory of the season for the 18-year Kwasnieswski, of Las Vegas.

Kwasniewski led 132 laps at the .396-mile Langley oval. He took the lead from pole sitter Brett Moffit on lap 46 and never trailed again. He has to hold off Suarez on a green-white-checkered finish.

“It was tough holding off [Suarez] on those restarts, but I felt we were the car to beat,” Kwasniewski said in a release from NASCAR. “I would have preferred not to have all those and just stay out front, but we stayed calm and didn’t spin the tires or anything. I’m really happy to get out of here with the win.”

Jesse Little, son of former Whelen Modified Tour director Chad Little, was third.

Kwasniewski, who is in his first season competing full-time in the K&N Pro Series East, left Langley with the series points lead. He has five career K&N Pro Series West victories and won that division’s title last year.
