Rain Forces Cancellation Of Racing Card Thursday At Thompson Speedway

A forecast for rain through the evening with the possibility of thunderstorms forced Thompson International Speedway officials to cancel Thursday’s racing card at the track.

It will mean an extended break in the schedule or the track’s competitors.

With the New England Summer Nationals car show taking place on Thursday July 4 at the track, there will be no regular weekly event.

Thompson Speedway drivers will return to action on Thursday July 11.

The Limited Sportsman division, which had been scheduled to have a double feature night on Thursday will not have a double feature night on July 18. The special 40-lap Late Model feature scheduled for Thursday will now be run on July 25.
