Thirty Two Signs Honey Badger Of The Week Award: Ryan Preece

Thanks to Randall and his glorious YouTube classic, we all know this, “Honey Badger don’t care.”

We also know from Randall that: “Honey Badger don’t care, it just takes what he wants. He has no regard for any other animal whatsoever.”

And grabbing all the good stuff was something NASCAR Modified Tour driver and Stafford Motor Speedway and Thompson International Speedway regular Ryan Preece made a habit of in recent days.

On June 7 Preece, of Berlin, was named as one of 13 participants in the prestigious NASCAR Next class of 2013. He became the first Modified driver to be included in the three year existence of the program.

And according to Randall: “The honey badger has been referred to by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most fearless animal in all of the animal kingdom.”

We all know fearless is a must needed quality when one hits The Island for racing at Riverhead (N.Y.) Raceway and there was no fear in Preece Saturday when he went on to win the Richie Evans Hall of Fame 100 on the legendary bullring.

And it didn’t stop there on a full-on Badgering week for Preece. On Tuesday it was announced that he will make his Nationwide Series debut driving for Tommy Baldwin Racing on July 13 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
