Valenti Modified Racing Series Falls Victim To Weather At Lee USA Speedway

A forecast for rain through evening forced Valenti Modified Racing Series officials and the management at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H. to cancel tonight’s 100-lap feature at the track.

It’s unclear at this time if the event will be made up. No make up date was immediately put in place.

Valenti Modified Racing Series director Scott Tapley said series officials are working with track management to secure a makeup date for the event.

It could mark the second event on the schedule this year lost entirely because of racing. A May 19 event rained out at Thompson International Speedway isn’t expected to be made up.

The Valenti Modified Racing Series is back in action July 6 at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H.
