New Hampshire Motor Speedway July Sprint Cup Series Event Becomes Camping World RV Sales 301

With just over two weeks to spare, New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s July NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event once again has a name.

Officials from New Hampshire Motor Speedway announced Monday that their July 14 Sprint Cup Series event will be known as the Camping World RV Sales 301.

Camping World will also be the title sponsor for the event in 2014.

“This is a natural, tailor-made partnership,” Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager at NHMS said in a release from the track. “We have one of the strongest RV camping bases of any NASCAR track, located in a major market [Boston] and a strong platform to help market the Camping World brand and its products. They have had a strong presence here at our track for many years.”

Camping World had previously been the title sponsor of four races at NHMS, including three NASCAR Nationwide Series races from 2007 – 2009 and the 2008 Camping World Truck Series event.

“Camping World is involved with NASCAR on multiple levels and expanding our sponsorship to the Sprint Cup Series seems like the next logical step,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World. “RV’ing is a huge part of the racing experience. We believe joining the New Hampshire Motor Speedway family will strengthen our relationship with the racing community.”
