Thompson Notes: Larry Barnett Continues Limited Sportsman Roll; Jesse Gleason Wins Second

THOMPSON – The track’s all-time winningest Limited Sportsman continued a heated 2013 roll.

Larry Barnett celebrates his Limited Sportsman victory Thursday at Thompson Speedway

Larry Barnett won the first of two 20-lap Limited Sportsman features Thursday at Thompson International Speedway.

It was the fourth victory in the first six events of the season at Thompson for Barnett, of Moosup.

Steve Kenneway of Lowell, Mass. was second and Scott Sundeen of Douglas, Mass. third.

In the second feature it was Jesse Gleason of Lisbon celebrating a victory. Travic Jurcik of Chaplin was second and Corey Fanning of Mapleville, R.I. third.

Cam McDermott of Scituate, R.I. picked up his fourth victory of the season in the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature. Scott Michalski of Killingly won the 20-lap Mini Stock feature.

Glenn Boss of Danielson won the 25-lap Late Model feature.
