Tommy Barrett Jr. Victorious In Valenti Modified Racing Series Action At Canaan Fair Speedway

A year ago Tommy Barrett Jr. rode to three Valenti Modified Racing Series victories.

Saturday he became the first member of the multi-time winner club in the division in 2013.

Barrett, of Millis, Mass., drove to victory in the 100-lap Valenti Modified Racing Series feature Saturday at Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, N.H.

It was the second victory of 2013 for Barrett, who also won on June 21 at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Chris Pasteryak of Lisbon was second and Anthony Nocella of Woburn, Mass. was third.

Barrett, who started on the pole, went to the lead past Pasteryak on lap 83 and never trailed again.
