Camping World Truck Series Returning To New Hampshire Motor Speedway Next Year

New Hampshire Motor Speedway officials announced Wednesday that the Camping World Truck Series will return to the track for the 2014 season.

The Truck Series will run a 175-lap event at the track on Sept. 20, 2014, part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sylvania 300 weekend at the track.

The Truck Series has not been a part of the schedule at track since 2011.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway officials also announced the the Sprint Cup Series Camping World RV Sales 301 will take place on July 13, 2014.

“For the 18th straight year, we are thrilled to host two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events here in New England for our very supportive fan base that included ticket-buyers from 44 states and 12 foreign countries this past season.” Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager at NHMS said in a release. “After a lot of feedback and encouragement from our fans the past two years, we have worked with NASCAR to bring back the trucks. Our schedule of three NASCAR national touring series, supported by two to three regional touring series gives us two entertaining NASCAR race weekends for our fans.”

The Truck Series had run one event annually at New Hampshire Motor Speedway from 1996 through 2011.

  1. I guess just hosting the “WMT” “ACT” and “K&NPE” is not enough to bring in the fans. I wonder why for 60$ it did not work out.

    Glad to see the trucks back at NHMS.
