Finale Weekend Becomes Bash At The Bowl At Waterford Speedbowl Saturday

The Waterford Speedbowl’s delayed finale weekend events will see their conclusion take place as part of a combination event at the track Saturday being billed as the Bash at the Bowl.

Weather forced Waterford Speedbowl officials to curtail action Sunday at the track with 16 laps remaining in the 50-lap Late Model feature.

Also still scheduled to be run on Sunday were 50-lap features for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modifieds and Street Stocks.

Now those divisions will be part of a multi-motorsport card that will include a special 25-lap Mini Stock shootout and the previously scheduled HDRA Drag Nationals.

Stock car practice will begin at noon on Saturday, with features scheduled to begin at about 1:15 p.m. Grandstands will open at 12:30. Finale weekend tickets and pit passes already purchased for this past weekend will be honored. Those who don’t already have tickets can purchase them for $12 and $6 for youths 6-14.
