Start And End Dates Changed For Eagle Chevy Performance Point Fund

(Press release from National Short Track Promotions)

After reviewing all nine NORTHEAST race tracks schedules along with New Smyrna Speedway plus giving me a chance to go to each track to talk to the 602 asphalt modified drivers on a one on one basis to fully explain and answer all the questions they may have. I have decided to change the starting date to JUNE 1st and extend the ending date to OCTOBER 13th to give all the competitors more races to count toward the fifty position EAGLE CHEVY PERFORMANCE point fund”, stated Joe Lewandoski.

The rules allow you to count only your best finish of the weekend if you race in multiple race nights in one week. The point system is very simple to understand because the NATIONAL SHORT TRACK PROMOTIONS, LLC., the company which is administering the point fund, counts the top ten finishes if your track starts ten or more cars and 1st place earns ten points and so on down to tenth place which earns one point. Now if you race at a track that starts less than ten and let’s say the track has only eight cars starting the feature then 1st place earns eight points and eight place earns one point.

“The most exciting part of the part of the point fund is that EAGLE CHEVROLET, RIVERHEAD, NEW YORK thru its parts company EAGLE CHEVY PERFORMANCE will be giving away a brand new $7,000 602 motor” said, Michael Migliore, parts director.

The battle to finish on the podium for the Eagle Chevy Performance to win the championship with first place award of $1,500 sponsored by Hoosier Tire East-Hoosier Tires (Rob Summers), second place award of $1,000 from Sunoco Race Fuels, and third place award of $900 from Aqua-Duck – Pottstown, PA. (Todd Baer) will make it very interesting with the top guns (Tyler Chapman, Nick Hovey, Sami Anderson, Owen And Chase Grennan, Nick Baer, Richard Lapolt, Evan Bourgeois, Jason Chapman, Tom Sekulski, and Jacob Kerstetter just to name a few top drivers who will be battling each week for a podium finish to earn the extra money along with their end of the year point fund money from the tracks the top guns race at.

“The NATIONAL SHORT TRACK PROMOTIONS,LLC. company is very excited about helping the entry level 602 asphalt drivers participate in this unique and different promotion that has never been offered to this group of drivers”. Said Joe Lewandoski.
