The SK Light Modified standings at Stafford Speedway have been a rollercoaster ride of late. For the first third of the season it looked like Nickolas Hovey was going to run away from the competition. Hovey had an average finish of 1.7 over the first six events of the year. But a stretch of rough events recently for Hovey has made for some big changes for the division standings.
With 12 events in the books and six points paying events remaining this year, Meghan Fuller now sits atop the division standings with Amanda West in second, 12 points off the lead. Hovey sits third, 24 points behind Fuller. Nick Anglace, who has been the hottest driver in the division over the last four events, is fourth in the standings, 26 points off the lead. Peter Bennett is fifth, 32 points behind.
Today’s poll question asks, who do you think will win the SK Light Modified championship this year at Stafford? Vote below.
