Thompson Notes: Nickolas Hovey Keeps Rolling In SK Light Modified

THOMPSON – Nickolas Hovey continued to be the unstoppable force of the SK Light Modified division at Thompson Speedway on Wednesday. 

Hovey won the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature for his fourth victory in five starts at Thompson this season. 

Corey Caddick of Richmond, R.I. was second and John O’Sullivan of Salem third. 

Austin Goff is the only other winner in the division this season. 

George Baldwin of Lowell, Mass. topped the 20-lap Street Stock feature. Wade Gelinas of Limington, Me. was second Larry Barnett of Moosup third.

Danny Bowes of Byfield, Mass. won the 30-lap New England SuperModified Series feature. Jeffrey Battle of Westford, Mass. was second and Bobby Timmons Jr. of Windham, Me. third. 

Ryan Pomposelli of Smithfield, R.I. won the 15-lap Mini Stock feature. Tim Dorr of Gales Ferry was second and Randy Churchill Jr. of Waterford was third.
