Why Diego? It’s just the question I have to ask.

Why would you use the podcast soapbox you have to try to attempt to push some sort of gaslighting conviction that RaceDayCT is just out here publishing fake news about local drivers?

Yeah, this rant is coming a week after the fact. Just returning today from a long planned family vacation. Just before leaving for vacation I reported that Mike Christopher Jr. would be making his debut on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on Sept. 20 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

I returned from vacation to find out that me reporting that news had apparently set off a firestorm of whining and tantrums on social media. Yes, we’ve reached that point in time where a news outlet reporting news is apparently a bad thing now.

But it was a stabbing comment from local podcaster Diego Monahan on the Sept. 2 Sid’s View Podcast that really just cut way too deep.
