OK so as usual there’s a lot of stuff to unpack but for me the speculation on Membrino was notable.
I completely understand the need for drivers to move up divisions especially successful ones. I’ll never understand those that tried, get out spent or out smarted but refuse to reassess and drop back down.
In the end racing is about an entertainment choice and how much enjoyment you can get for the money you will surely lose forever. Good for you, you tried the SK’s, tour mods or even the SK Lights. Whatever was needed to distinguish yourself that most times is money wasn’t there. coming in who cares every race isn’t cutting it so all stop.
I don’t know about that Hollywood stuff but Membrino in the SK Lights was exciting. Hard charging, electric pick your description he was fun to watch and controversial at times.
So far a lot of the older guys that had success in the SK Lights in the past have had relatively little success consistently competing with the young guns. I’d love a guy like Tony to match wits with these kids in the Lights and compete with them toe to toe.
