So I’ve had a few people ask why I’m not at Lime Rock Park today for the first Craftsman Truck Series event ever at the historic venue.

Trust me, I wanted to be there.

Lime Rock is genuinely one of the hidden gems of motorsports in this country. During my time as a reporter at the Hartford Courant I had the opportunity to cover all sorts of events at Lime Rock Park, from the top levels of sports car racing to the Busch North Series to the NASCAR Modified Tour.
