Saturday Ben Rhodes had the closer’s kick that was missing in his most previous event.

Rhodes, of Louisville, Ky., led the final 26 laps to win the K&N Pro Series East Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 Saturday at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Greenville, S.C.
It was the first career K&N Pro Series East victory for Rhodes, who was making his 11th series start.
Rhodes had led all but two laps in the most previous K&N Pro Series East race last week at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, before losing the lead to Eddie MacDonald on a green-white-checkered restart
Rhodes’ best career finish in the series before Saturday was third.
Ronnie Bassett Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C. was second and Cameron Hayley of Calgary, Alberta was third.
Scott Heckert of Ridgefield was 17th and David Garbo Jr. of Stonington was third 20th.
