Casagrande Motorsports History
Casagrande Motorsports was started in 1993 by brothers Rick and Dean Casagrande with an entry into the then newly created DARE Stock division at Stafford Motor Speedway. The team moved up to the Late Model division at Stafford in 1995 with Dean Casagrande capturing seven victories before stepping away from the car after the 1998 season.
The first Casagrande Motorsports Late Model at Stafford Motor Speedway
The team resurfaced in 2007 with Dean Casagrande driving a newly built DARE Stock ride to victory lane in preparation for the debut of Rick Casagrande’s son Kyle Casagrande at Stafford. Kyle took over the ride during the 2007 season, eventually becoming the the all-time winningest DARE Stock division driver in Stafford Motor Speedway history with 20 career victories.
In 2010 the team expanded to a two-car operation in the DARE Stock division with Rick’s younger son Cory Casagrande joining the competition. Cory Casagrande won three DARE Stock Division features as a rookie before moving up to Stafford’s Limited Late Model division in 2011. He went on to win eight Limited Late Model features over two seasons, and the division’s championship in 2012 before moving up to the Late Model division in 2013. In 2013 Cory had one victory in the Late Model division and captured the division’s Rookie of the Year title. In 2014 Kyle joined brother Cory to create a two-car Casagrande Motorsports stable on the Late Model division at Stafford. Wallingford driver Jeff Jolly also joined the organization for the team’s continued entry in the DARE Stock division in 2014.

Also in 2014, Cory Casagrande teamed up with longtime local Pro Stock driver Jeff Connors to share driving duties for a Connors Motorsports ride on the Granite State Pro Stock Series. In 2015 Cory and Kyle Casagrande returned to run their Late Models at Stafford Motor Speedway. The Casagrande Motorsports team also expanded with the addition of a Granite State Pro Stock Series ride co-owned by Stafford Speedway SK Light Modified division regular Bob Charland. Cory Casagrande and Charland will share driving duties with the Granite State Pro Stock Series entry in 2015.
